16 area schools have collected more than 3,200 coats for the Salvation Army’s annual Coats for Kids drive.
Kadlec Medical Center is donating $500 to the school collecting the most coats, and $200 each for each school that gathers at least 100 coats. The winner of the 2005 School Challenge is Maya Angelou Elementary School in Pasco.
