The facilities at Kadlec Medical Center are more than just buildings. They are designed specifically to support the excellent care our patients receive by providing efficient, technologically-advanced and comfortable surroundings.

We continue to expand our facilities to respond to the growing health care needs of our region. We recently added 80,000 square feet to the Main Medical Center Facility and remodeled additional sections. Much of the expansion is designed to accommodate the high-tech equipment Kadlec provides for the region.

Main Medical Center Facilities

Critical Care Unit - A technologically-advanced 20 bed unit with expanded patient rooms, larger family waiting areas, and private family waiting areas.

Pediatrics - Children hospitalized at Kadlec Medical Center receive around–the–clock care from one of three full time Pediatric Hospitalists.

Intermediate Care Unit - 19 bed unit for patients who require less care than available in CCU but more than the medical-surgical rooms.

Short Stay Unit - 12-bed unit for patients who require observation and short term intervention, but not admission to the medical floors.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - The region's only NICU for our tiniest patients requiring specialized care.

The Birth Center - 14 family centered birthing suites.

Emergency Department - Now with a separate entrance, expanded waiting room and six express care rooms.

Chapel - non-denominational facility for patients and guests.

Gift Shop - operated by the Kadlec Auxiliary, it offers flowers, cards and gifts.

The Garden - a serene setting for quiet meditation or relaxation.

The Garden Café - meal service for guests and staff.

Specialty Facilities

Outpatient Imaging Center - Just across from the main campus, our new all-digital imaging center includes some of the most advanced imaging technologies available. The facility was designed around comfort, convenience and customer service catering to the particular needs of outpatients and their families. Located at 945 Goethals Drive.

North Building - Location of the Kadlec Foundation, Education Department, Patient Financial Services and Quality Care Management. Use Medical Center's West Entrance.

Kadlec Child Care Center - Quality care for children from age 6 weeks to 5 years. Located just west of the Main Medical Center building.

Tri-City Regional Surgery Center - Specializing in outpatient, same day surgical procedures. Located at 1096 Goethals Drive.

Leslie-Gage Therapy Services Center - Physical, speech, occupational and massage therapy. Conveniently located at 560 Gage Boulevard in south Richland.
